James asked me to give a potted history of my experience with Naim. Here goes:
1987 Linn LP12 with Basik arm, Creek amp and Linn Index Speakers. The Creek amp lasted all of 6 week because I had heard the Naim Nait in the demo and just had to have it. This was my introduction to Naim.
1988 Upgraded to black Ittok LVII. Audiotech wall shelf and Sound Organisation tables.
1989 Upgraded Nait to NAC62 and NAP140
1993 Naim CDI. Although I was and still am mostly…

I just want to thank everyone who supported the event. We all had the most amazing weekend and I could not be luckier to have a set of clients like you all.
You make this job an absolute pleasure.
I'd also like to thank my good friends at Naim, Doug, Mark, Jason, Steve & Trevor who did the most wonderful job from start to finish and of course my own team Henry, Mary & Debbie
Thanks again
James…

My mainly NAIM system has grown from it's original, by accident entry in to NAIN land of 12s/NAP160.
This 1989 purchase of a new LP12 had blown the budget for new Arcam pre/power combo,. So we had to "make do" with the NAIM and LP12 /basic arm and cart, into AR8 speakers. Incidently these items were the last new pieces of kit I have bought.
A SNAPS,…

Just a comment to say thanks to everyone for the fantastic demonstration today. An excellent afternoon. In the words of young Mr Grace "You've all done very well!"
I am looking forward to the 10th birthday party.
Thanks again folks.

We'd love to feature your systems on the blog so please do not hesitate to submit your photos and let us know about your Naim journey.
When did you first hear a Naim system?
What was your first Naim component?
How has your system developed since then?
What have been the highlights of your Naim journey?
What does Naim mean to you?
Cheers
James

Hello all, we've had a great response to the Festival of Sound, so much so that the Saturday morning session is now fully booked. We still have places on the other three sessions but don't delay as these are going fast.
We're all really looking forward to the weekend, there's nothing better than hanging out with friends old and new, listening to some splendid music on Naim's finest.
See you there.
Cheers
James
