Gavin's Active DBL System

We visited Gavin on Friday to install a Supercap 2 DR on the Snaxo in his mighty active DBL system. 

It's been a blast working with him to help assemble this incredible system, ever since he bought one of the last NAT 02 tuners that Naim built from us many moons ago - now rather dwarfed by the truly iconic system that has grown around it which sounds as serious as it looks. With 2 x NAP 500's and a NAP 300 in there, this is a system that one can truly describe as having cojones!

James, many thanks for your help taking me from my CDI (with NAC282/180 with Linn Kans) to this current setup.  It has been quite a journey - and there never was any going back after making the leap to the DBLs!  So revealing that I added the NAC552 and then the 555 - which was a revelation.

The latest upgrade, Supercap DR for the SNAXO is running in very nicely.  Opening up the soundstage further and really allowing the DBLs to dig out that base (with the 500 keeping things under control).  Next stop?  Maybe some Super Lumina....
