As previously reported, we were very pleasantly surprised when Chord last visited and slipped some of these under the speakers in our demo room. The upgrade over the Naim Chips was not subtle.Having now tried some demo sets both here and also out in clients' systems, I'm delighted to report that their benefit seems to be universal. Introducing Silent Mounts under the loudspeaker spikes seems to break some invisible tether and floats the music from the speakers whilst taking the effect of the surface upon which the speakers are mounted out of the equation. A superb, cost effective upgrade that lets your speakers operate as they should at £340 for a set of four.
